Chincha Alta – Paracas (12/12/2010) | 57 km parcourus |
Heu, demain nous embarquons pour faire une petite visite guidée des îles de la réserve de Paracas (les Gallapagos du pauvre). Donc, sans doute quelques photos à vous mettre sous la dent.
Saludos !
Chincha Alta – Paracas (12/12/2010) | 57 km cycled |
Today we leave later, as we calculated we only have to make 30 kms to Pisco (but we ended up making 56 km as Paracas is further away). Paracas is a National Park on the coast where it is possible to see all kinds of sea-animals. You leave early in the morning with a little boat to reach some islands further in the ocean, where they stay. You can see lots of different birds, dolphins, focks, sea-lions, even penguins,... (They call it the Galapagos of the poor, here : I'm curious).
Today we crossed again a biking-couple (=from Holland). They gave us good tips for the Atacama-desert in Chile, concerning which roads to take and what to see. (=they said it was one of the best parts of their trip so far). Good, as that part was still somehow uncertain to us.
Here in Paracas we meet another cyclo-tourist in the same hostal we stay. A (French-speaking) Suisse-guy traveling solo. We pass the afternoon with him and exchange a lot of travel-stories.
